The role of MATs in localities
We’re delighted to launch our latest report analysing the role of Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) in localities, which has been compiled with research assistance.
Authored by Jonathan Crossely-Holland, project lead for LocalEd, the report shares new evidence on how MATs are working within their local areas and the opportunities they have as important community assets to influence and support the whole system.
The report explores why MATs are largely locality based and what the MATs local agenda might be, looking beyond the support for vulnerable pupils. Drawing on the research it outlines what kinds of collaborative models might support that engagement.
Media coverage
The launch of our report can coverage from Schools Week and the Municipal Journal, running opinion pieces from author Jonathan.
