LocalED: Developing New Locality Models for English Schools. First six-monthly progress report
Since the project began in April 2022 following a competitive application process, the nine organisations selected have been making excellent progress, with examples of ambitious and potentially significant strands of work emerging.
In the first of our regular six-monthly progress reports, project lead Jonathan Crossley-Holland, reviews the hard work that’s gone into setting up the pilots and the upcoming priorities, including a summary of the evaluation process.
You can read the short report here.
If you are interested in further detail, each organisation has shared a more in-depth look at their plans:
- Pilot 1 – Support for vulnerable pupils
- Pilot 2 – Combined Authorities as the base for supporting school improvement
- Pilot 3 – Towards a new model of accountability
We are also delighted to see there has been a positive interest in the LocalED project, reflected in how many people are visiting the website and spending time on the site. You can also follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn for further updates.
